ARE THE PEOPLE OF ABIRIBA MOSTLY IDOL WORSHIPERS?: ( PART II).
Sequel to my article on the above caption published on July 30th, 2018, I wish to conclude by saying that the people of Abiriba are the most open-minded in all aspects of lives.
Our hospitality and love for each other is unmatched. Many attempts have been made in the past to bring disharmony amongst the people of Abiriba by envious outsiders using some like-minds within Abiriba to achieve their aims.
We (Nde Abiriba) are not known to be envious people but progressive-minded. Many old shrines in Abiriba are a shadow of themselves today even though there were not as sacred or feared as those in other communities. Many known old or ancestal shrines in Abiriba always suffer lack of care after the original chief priest is gone. Many whose fathers practiced as native doctors in Abiriba find it difficult to take over from where their fathers stopped, and yet, outsiders still enviously call us PEOPLE THAT DOES NOT KNOW GOD. NDE OGWU EGO or OGWU OKPOGHO,etc.
I can say it unequivocally that Abiriba embraced and allowed Christianity into the community long before Churches and missionaries began to be allowed into some of these accusers' communities and this happened when it was believed that many were still idol worshipers in Nigeria and Africa in general.
The Church of Scotland Mission ( C.S.M) which is today known as THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH NIGERIA ( P.C.N or Church Afia Nkwo in Abiriba parlance) which is the FIRST CHURCH TO ENTER ABIRIBA KINGDOM came into Abiriba over 100 years ago. I know many villages today that cannot even allow a pastor to enter their village or certain areas in their villages to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, yet, when they hear about Abiriba, they start saying what they don't know. Nde okpa nkem akpaghu nke ya.
From opening the Igwu River for economic activities by our fore-fathers over 100 years ago to traveling outside the shores of Abiriba and starting businesses from Akkara down to Uzuakoli, then to Umuahia, Port-Harcourt and Calabar by our workaholic ancestors, our people believed in EMULATION and NOT ENVY and that is why progress will never depart our homeland.
Mr & Mrs Accusers, may I bring to your notices that, till date, record shows that Abiriba has the worst record of settling an apprentices after many years of serving a master by a young man, but instead of the young man to get frustrated, envy or plan how to kill his master, he will find a different thing, add hard work to it while believing that God will open a way for him. Simply put, we are an adventurous people.
I have checked around and didn't hear that the most dangerous kidnapper, armed robber or ritualist in Igboland or Nigeria is from Abiriba.Envy will always follow successful people and I know it is natural.
From time immemorial, I have never heard that Abiriba is a destination for rituals who want to make money, because, I have never seen nor heard of any deity or shrine that people can run to in order to make money located in Abiriba due to its efficacy.
Those who accuse Abiriba of being money ritualists and bla bla bla cannot tell us why FEARED DEITIES and SHRINES are located in their communities instead of Abiriba. Upon that, they will not tell us why is becomes a hard thing for them to travel down to their villages to celebrate Christmas together with brothers and sisters and drink in one cup without fear.
One thing is certain, our people will continue to prosper provided handwork is attached while the Onyokometers will keep trying to find the magic wand or tree that vomits those monies while times passes.
Yes, we are rituals but we are number one when it comes to eating in one plate and drinking in one cup. Yes, we are nde ogwu okpogho, yet, we build houses which many lives in and still prosper. Yes,we are Nde ogwu ego,yet we built factories and employed many to feed their families.
Today,we have made many progress and inroads into various life endeavours and we are not going to look back.
I only pray that the love and peace that brought our fathers together which culminated into the idea of establishing A.C.I.U, building of Enuda high school, Akahaba General Hospital, Onarubi Technical School, Egwuena Girls Secondary school, Ojighiriendu Tower, etc will return back to Abiriba so that we can move together in harmony which will bring more progress within Abiriba, while envious people looks from afar and wonder like papawonder.

Difference Between http and https
Some of you may be aware of this difference, but it is worth sharing for many that are not aware of it. Just follow me and learn it, I promise you will never make a grievous mistake.
The main difference between http:// and https:// is all about keeping you secure.
HTTP stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol.
The S (big surprise) stands for "Secure". If you visit a Website or web page, and look at the address in the web browser, it is likely to begin with the following: http://.
This means that the website is talking to your browser using the regular unsecured language. In other words, it is possible for someone to "eavesdrop" on your computer's conversation with the Website. If you fill out a form on the website, someone might see the information you send to that site.
This is why you never ever enter your credit card number in an Http website! But if the web address begins with https://, that means your computer is talking to the website in a Secure code that no one can eavesdrop on.
Now, you understand why this is so important, right?
If a website ever asks you to enter your Credit/Debit card
Information, you should automatically look to see if the web
address begins with https://.
If it doesn't, you should NEVER enter sensitive Information such as a credit/debit card number.
PLS PASS IT ON (You may save someone a lot of grief).
While checking the name of any website, first look for the domain extension (.com or .org, .co.in, .net etc). The name just before this is the domain name of the website. Eg, in the above example, http://amazon.diwali-festivals.com, the word before .com is "diwali-festivals" (and NOT "amazon"). So, this webpage does not belong to amazon.com but belongs to "diwali-festivals.com", which we all haven't heard of before.
You can similarly check for bank frauds.
Before your e-banking logins, make sure that the name just before ".com" is the name of your bank. "Something.icicibank.com" belongs to icici; but, icicibank.some1else.com belongs to "some1els".
You've hopefully learned something new, now please share and educate others.

Snake rearing one of the most profitable ventures –Researcher
The officer in charge of Snakebite treatment and research Centre, Kaltungo in Gombe state, Dr. Abubakar Ballah, has encouraged members of the public to include the trade of rearing snakes to enhance their financial status.
Ballah disclosed in Kaltungo on Friday that snake rearing is one of the maximum profitable trades, considering the high cost of snake venom which pharmaceutical industries use in generating anti snake venom.
“An ounce of the venom of a carpet viper snake is $500, that of cobra and puff adder snakes value $400, and the good factor about the business is that you may find market easily through the internet,” he said.
He stated that aside from the manufacturing of anti snakebite venoms, the pharmaceutical industries use the snake venoms in the manufacturing of anti hypertensive, cancer and ulcer pills.
He said that aside from promoting the snakes to pharmaceutical companies, the reptiles can be bought to earn foreign exchange.
“For instance, Indonesia has the most important reservoir of snakes in the world, very beautiful, colourful and harmless, and the government of that country exports them to earn revenue,” he stated
“In the area of fashion, the skins of the reptile is used in the manufacturing of fanciful belts, girls purses, shoes and other objects.
“It is consequently ironical to see fashion-conscious humans, dressed in shoes, belts and purses crafted from snake skins, either having phobia for live snakes, or see the reptile as enemy number one,” he observed.
Additionally in area of nature’s very own nourishment, the Officer said snake meat is a favourite delicacy in some African and Asian countries.
“They take away the venom and prepare special pepper soup, in particular the python meat, which tastes like fish meat,” he said.
Ballah stated in the area of agriculture, snakes assist in balancing the atmosphere on farmlands via lowering the quantity of destructive rodents, thereby permitting farmers to enjoy bumper harvest.
“Farmers do not go out at night time to check their farms; snakes do this for them, as such the reptiles are purported to be buddies of farmers, no longer enemies,” he added.
He attributed the phobia for snakes by humans to the terrific charisma of the elegant reptile, however stressed that snakes were harmless, and they only bite in self-defence.
“In most instances, it is only while it feels threatened that it bites, just like any man or women will now not hesitate to throw a punch at any enemy, real or imagined.
“So more often than not, we've instances of humans, both advertently or in any other case, stepping on snakes, and the reptile bites back out of the instinct to protect itself.
“This is why while a snake gets to hear any motion from some distance, it tries to run away however when pursued and located in a tight corner, it reacts if it has the means to accomplish that,” he explained.
On the way to rear snakes considering that taming same is a herculian project, the officer said interested people may want to either engage the services of snake charmers for a fee per snake, or engage in joint business with the charmers.
He stated Nigeria is blessed with forms of snakes spread all over the country, as examplified via what obtains in Kaltungo city of Gombe state, subsequently the need to harness same and generate revenue at individual and government tiers.

Jose Mourinho |

Mourinho said he was awaiting his returning world Cup stars to be equipped to be greater heavily involved.
The Portuguese tactician guided his side to an opening day 2-1 win and he is hoping to build on the early victory.
The previous Chelsea boss was without numerous big names during last weekend’s game, with the likes of Romelu Lukaku only coming from the bench and less frequent starters along with Juan Mata, Matteo Darmian, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw and Andreas Pereira starting the game.
“I assume we will have the same players [as against Leicester],’ Mourinho informed the club’s website.
“I think the injured players aren’t going to be back for Brighton. What we've is Paul [Pogba] with 9 days’ training, [Marcus] Rashford with 11 days’ training, [Marouane] Fellaini with 9 days’ training and, of course, they will be in a better condition.
“Generally, those boys that [against Leicester] were in a tough situation can be ready to present a bit greater [against Brighton] – more Lukaku, more Rashford, likely Lingard coming back, more Fellaini.
“I think normally we’re going to have more.”
Zidane 'desires' to Replace Mourinho at Old Trafford next season
If information from French news outlet (L’Equipe) is anything to go by, former real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane might be Jose Mourinho’s successor at old Trafford next season.
Zidane stepped down from his role some months ago after guiding Los Blancos to three back-to-back Champions League titles.
There were reports that ‘Zizu’ might take over as coach of the French national team after the world Cup but Les Blues world Cup triumph will potentially see Didier Deschamps stay as head coach.
In line with sports news outlet the mirror, Zidane is keen on coming to the premier League and mainly, handling Manchester United.
The red Devils fashion of play under Mourinho has obtained some heavy complaint despite the fact that the club received three trophies within the Portuguese’s first season in charge and finished second in the premier League last season.
During pre-season, Mourinho lamented the lack to acquire priority targets which apparently aroused tension between him and club chief executive Ed Woodward.
Man United were 2-1 winners against Leicester at old Trafford in the first game of the season courtesy of goals from skipper Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw. They face Brighton on Sunday at the Falmer Stadium.
NO CORRUPTION RIGHT HERE; Fifa delete 'corruption' from code of conduct and provide advice on bribes
FIFA has scrubbed the phrase "corruption" from its code of behavior manual.
And it additionally offers advice on the way to ride out the storm if fearing a ban for paying and receiving bribes.
After the corruption scandal that rocked the organisation after the awarding of Russia 2018 and the 2022 world Cup in Qatar, they have taken action — through definitely deleting the term from their vocabulary.
And Gianni Infantino has also gone soft on the ones accused of taking or receiving bribes.
Bribery remains prohibited within the ethics code, but the potential to prosecute cases has been weakened.
The 2012 code said "prosecution for bribery and corruption" was not subject to a "limitation duration."
However long it took investigators to discover offences, you can nevertheless be sanctioned.
However section 12.1 of the new code states: "Bribery, misappropriation of finances and manipulation of football matches or competitions might also no longer be prosecuted after a lapse of ten years."
So, for officials who want to pass round brown envelopes, the message is apparent: maintain your head down for a decade and you are home and dry.
The message to soccer officials not deterred from seeking to benefit from bribery and fraud by the criminal cases: as long as the misdemeanour isn't discovered for 10 years you'll be in the clear at Fifa.
Ethics prosecutors now simply have 5 years to complete cases into other general breaches of the code - half the previous time approved to uncover wrongdoing.
Infantino said last year: "the new Fifa is a democracy it isn't a dictatorship. it's far a transparent organisation ... a deeply sincere organisation."
Critics will argue that this latest move clearly sweeps old problems under the rug.

He died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Umuahia on July 31,1976 @ the age of 76. Therefore, our people did not start today to make the Abiriba community in particular, Igboland and Nigerian in general proud. So, those of us who believe that our people, especially, our forefathers made money out of dubious or ritual means should know the history before going to town with our stories and stop giving outsiders wrong impressions about our founding fathers who made money early before civilization came to Nigeria.
The magic word our forefathers used in making Abiriba proud was UNITY, LOVE and TRUST. They used their wealth to better the lots of fellow Abiribarians and the community in general.
His age-grade, Nchina Age grade (Uke Compini) "compini" stands for "Company" performed their Uche Ceremony in the year 1956. Many people, especially, we the younger generations heard about this great Abiriba son without meeting him alive. We only hear and see his 3-storey mansion built many decades ago when most villages were still in darkness.
It is on record that he was registered into the famous DUKE TOWN PRIMARY SCHOOL in Calabar where he passed his Elementary Six without repeating a class, and until his death, no one in Nigeria accused him of crime neither did he practice on anyone what is known as 419. His stockfish and other business ventures made him one of the Richest Nigerians of his time that he became the 1st African to purchase a brand new motor car for personal use in 1947. A long Sleek Ford Limousine, a post 2nd World War car that has never been seen in Calabar before.
A fashion conscious gentleman who, although he had gold chains but hardly wore it. During the building of Enuda Secondary School in 1948 ( Now Enuda High School) one of the First community Schools in Igboland,Ete Igwo was said to have donated the sum of Four Hundred Pound Sterling. An amount the people of Abiriba called NNU PONG which meant about 1 Billion Naira in the imagination of untutored average Abiriba man of the 1940s. The amount, it is recorded was more than double what any other Abiriba man contributed to the Enuda Secondary School Building Fund. He is reputed to have donated far more than any other Abiriba man to funding A.C.I.U Scholarship Fund too. He sold the hottest commodity, stockfish, which he was far away the biggest importer in Nigeria to many Abiriba business men on CREDIT to help them make progress, thereby tying up a great deal of his capital in order to help his towns people, some of who did not honour their pledge to pay back those monies to him.
SOME OF HIS ACHIEVEMENTS:
1: In June,1934, he became the First Abiriba man to build a country home with Cement block which were very expensive in those days. The building, a 3-Storey built mansion built around June,1934 is added here for all to see and it is 81 years this year.
2: He,alongside his Elder Bros was the first to import goods in ship loads from abroad instead of buying from big European firms in Calabar.
3: He was the first Abiriba man to purchase a brand new motor car in 1947.
4: He was the first Abirina man to own and live in a Two Storey building outside Abiriba. A house he built in Calabar in 1945.
5: In 1945, he became the first Abiriba man to send an Abiriba man abroad to study medicine (Dr. K.N. Oji),the last born of his sister.
6: He was the first Abiriba man to set-up a trading partnership business with his brother (J.K & I KALU EBIRIBA MERCHANTS without a single quarrel with his brother.
7: He was the first Abiriba man to build a mansion with electric lights powered by generator in 1954. Originally the largest private home in all Igboland which hosted Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe and the Igbo Union Annual General Meeting in 1960. The building remains one of the latest buildings in Abiriba today. Uluo Elu Ete Igwo.

NO 1: CHIEF IKWAN ONWUKA (a.k.a IKWAN

During his youthful time, education wasn't widespread in the area. The custom was for young men to serve as "apprentice" or "Nwanta Uzu" under the tutelage of an established businessman. At a tender age,Chief Ikwan was said to have left Abiriba for Uzuakoli with his master, Chief Egwuronu Obasi (a.k.a Okwodu of Nde Ama, Ameke, Abiriba to serve his apprenticeship. At Umuahia, young Ikwan was said to have engaged in trading and in the Obioma art for which people from this area are still well known. Married to an Mbaise lady while in Umuahia in 1942. They both formed a technically sound, morally and socially upright Christian family. Unlike the general tradition in his time and in the area where many of his friends married many wives, Chief Ikwan married only one wife with children who are well educated. He gave equal opportunities to all his children no matter the gender to develop their potentials by educating them both in Nigeria and overseas in areas for which each child has affinity.
He was said to be a hard worker ,and In business, Umuahia could no longer contain him and he left for Calabar in 1942 with his young wife. It was in Calabar that the business of Chief Ikwan Onwuka & Company became well established and grew. Amid stiff competition from Lebanese and Syrian merchants,Ikwan was said to have carried out successful busines ventures importing and selling quality textiles, stockfish, surplus goods and at the end of 2nd Wolrd War, the famous 3-legged Negro pots with the trademarks " I Onwuka" conspicuously displayed on them. It was said that UAC, JOHN HOLT etc did not find it funny with chief Ikwan in business circle at that time. He was said to hav suffered the wrath of the British government for daring to travel to Norway to import stockfish in 1949 which made his 97 Marina Raod shop ,warehouse and home in Calabar the busiest spot in calabar, not only a shop or warehouse for goods ,but the meeting place and transit home to people from all works of life.
He built the NATIONAL CINEMA in 1947, and, for over a decade was said to have had a running battle with Lebanese/Syrian proprietors of PATRICK CINEMA HOUSE also in Calabar. Dogged in his Belief that the Nigerian businessman has the right to do business in his country which led him going to court several times in a bid to see that justice was done. When the NATIONAL CINEMA proved a viable venture,he was said to have gone on to build the 1ST CINEMA HOUSE IN ONITSHA - BROADWAY CINEMA- on a piece of land leased to him by his good friend, Justice Louis Mbanefo and constructed by another good friend called Mr. Achukwu, a.k.a Achukwu Ochanja, both prominent Onitsha indigenes. Ikwan's world was said to have had no boundaries. He was said to be at home with people from all the tribes and nationalities.
In 1944, he was said to have opened a Lagos branch at 33 Balogun Street which quickly became a popular meeting place for Abiriba and other Igbo business pioneers to the city. He competed favourably with Lebanese and Indians in Lagos, and in 1950/51,Chief Ikwan dared out and opened the London branch of " I. ONWUKA & CO LTD" at 20 Copthal Avenue, London E.C and the same time bought a house at 92 Hewith Road, London N.8. Many indigent Nigerian student of the time were said to have benefited from the purchase of the house as his door was said to be open to all needy students who had accommodation and financial problems. His business was said to have taken him toTogo, Ghana, Algeria, Casablanca, Spain. Gibraltar, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, Italy and Germany, a well-traveled man. Back home in Nigeria, he was reputed to have had and maintained offices and business ventures in Uzuakoli, Umuahia, Oron, Calabar, PH, Aba, Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Jos and Ibadan.
However, inspite of his business preoccupation, he never forgot his creator. He was said to have lived a simple and devoted Christian life. He was a staunch member of Presbyterian Church of Nigeria (P.C.N) in Abiriba,Calabar and Lagos but never forgot to contribute to the Abiriba Community development through his age grade and other avenues where his Christian religion allowed his.The tag, " Ikwan Okpogho-Okpogho" was said to have been given to him because, he made money and used it for mankind. Loved Abiriba and his people. He was said to be a dependable, generous and a cheerful giver who would give money, advise, accommodation and moral support whenever needed.
He is the First Abiriba man to send a friend, not a relation overseas to study, and the beneficiary is Elder Chief Echeme Emole (E. Emole) ,his bosom friend who received his full scholarships to study law in the United Kinddom. With the education received through Chief Ikwan's scholarship, E. Emole became the FIRST ABIRIBA LAWYER, FIRST LAWYER IN BENDE DIVISION AND FIRST ABIRIBA MAN TO SERVE IN BOTH NNAMDI AZIKIWE/ MICHAEL OKPARA'S EASTERN REGIONAL GOVERNMENTS.
Chief Ikwan was a foundation member of A.C.I.U along with great Abiriba sons like Orji Agwu, Lazarus Ebe Ifendu of blessed memories in 1941 in Nwanibe-Effi-Ayong. A.C.I.U was said to have taken off from Chief Ikwan's house in Calabar. He Awarded several scholarships to friends, relations and strangers even though he lacked formal education of his own. He was founding member of A.C.B Bank whose first branch office was in his house at 43 Victoria Street, now Nnamdi Azikiwe Street,Lagos for which he was a member of the Board of directors

They're not mentally strong enough!' - Ozil & Arsenal stars criticised by Merson
The former Gunners star fears the problems which held the club back towards the end of Arsene Wenger's reign remain underneath the guidance of Unai Emery
Mesut Ozil and Arsenal showed during their 2-0 defeat to Manchester city that they nonetheless lack mental power, in line with Paul Merson.
The Gunners faced accusations of lacking the stomach for a combat towards the end of Arsene Wenger’s reign, with those troubles leading to a tumble out of the premier League’s top four.
Unai Emery was drafted in to the turn the tide, however Merson says Arsenal continue to be "a cute bunch of lads".
He fears that will continue to keep the club back, with finances seemingly of more concern to those in north London than results on the field.
The former Gunners midfielder told Sky sports: "if you want to keep on coming along creating wealth and finishing fifth or sixth, nothing has to change. but in case you need to break in, get to that level, it's going to need a better mentality of player; I don't think the players are mentally robust enough.
"I don't see it - when it went 2-0 and the picture panned away and Bernardo Silva ran to the crowd, it was like Laurel and Hardy with Mesut Ozil, 'it is the end of that game'.
"They just appear to be a lovely bunch of lads, not even Granit Xhaka is getting them to come on - you never see it with Arsenal."
Even as Merson believes Arsenal are continuing to regress, ex-Gunners goalkeeper Jens Lehmann believes Emery has inherited a positive situation from long-serving Wenger .
He stated: "I don't consider it a re-build, the brand new manager has taken over a club in almost a perfect environment.
"The players have a good attitude. I expected a bit greater on Saturday, they had a large change, and after 22 years it is different if something is new, of course. it could have been my grandmother in charge, or whoever, however it is nonetheless new.
"I don't agree that when 22 years it takes a while to enhance - the 22 years were notable, and Arsene has invented the best football in the country, likely throughout Europe. Pep Guardiola took him as a position model in his best years, perhaps 10 years ago.
"In this 22 years, it was a period of success. not the ultimate achievement, and in latest years not the biggest achievement with missing out on the Champions League, but it has been a remarkable time altogether."

THE SYMBOL OF WEALTH IN THOSE DAYS:
A barn |
The barn and the size(s) of yam in the barns was a major source of knowing who is rich amongst our forefathers in those days.
There was competition in all aspects of their lives. Competition in farming in many acres of lands, planting various seeds. A time wives helped their husbands in the farming business, thereby, making their husbands richer than they were before getting married.
A time hard-work replaced killings and or using a fellow human being's parts, one's child or parents for ritual to make money as we hear or see today. A time when working harder to be like a rich man instead of planning to kidnap a rich man, his mother, wife, children or relations in order to make money was the order of the day.
Millions of acres of empty farm lands are wasting in various villages whereas many are rushing to town and urban areas even when they have nothing doing in those towns they ran to. What is happening to us today. There is much hunger in the land, yet the people don't want to go back to farms.
I believe that "WHERE THERE IS FOOD INSECURITY, CRIME WILL BE ON THE INCREASE, BECAUSE, HUNGER CAN LEAD TO STEALING AND OTHER CRIMES IN THE SOCIETY".
Our parents farmed, tilled the lands, ate fresher foods and fruits, as a result lived in better good health and lived longer than our generation.
No job(s) available in the land, and yet, there is apathy towards farming even on top of high hunger rate in the land.
Where did we start to fail and what is the way out? Why did things fall apart?
We will come back with a comprehensive details on this,.
Keep a date with us.

THE ABIRIBA ANNUAL LAW EDICT 2018 ( ITU EYE):
First of all, I want to state it clearly that those moving around with false information that there was nothing like Itu Eye for 2018 should be seen as rumour peddlers and enemies of Abiriba Enachioken Kingdom.
I stand to state categorically here that " I SAW A DOCUMENT THAT SHOWS THAT THE 2018 ITU EYE WAS DONE THE RIGHT WAY".
Again, from the information I gathered from the said document, it shows that, as is the norm, THERE WAS "IKA EYE" by the ENACHIOKEN-IN-COUNCIL on 10th July, 2018, which heralded the annual " ITU EYE" proclamations by the Enachioken of Abiriba H.R.H Eze K.K.Ogbu (IV) at the Amauku Square.
At the Ika Eye 2018, according to the Document that was shown to me,in attendance were:
1: The Enachioken of Abiriba , H.R.H Eze K.K. Ogbu (IV)
2: Ukpaghari of Amogudu , H.R.H Eze E.U.Ikpoka
3: Effa of Agboji - H.R.H Eze B.U .Agu
4: Abiriba women-in council
5: Titled Chiefs ,etc.
THE 2018 LAW EDICTS:
1: The Abiriba kingdom bans LESBIANISM and HOMOSEXUAL activities within the Kingdom. Any man or woman found in this act within the Abiriba territory will be dealt with as spelt out in the new law.
2: That those who walks into Abiriba with tapes to measure lands and sell same to buyers should stop forthwith as such land sales have caused a lot of troubles in the family and amongst the people as such sellers disappears when the trouble comes out. Therefore, matrilineal/patrilineal families (IKWU) are advised to survey their lands and bring a copy to the Enachioken-In-Council for proper documentation and to forestall acts of illegal sales of such lands owned collectively by individuals.
3: That those boys who jubilates around with powder when their illegally impregnated girlfriends gives birth should cease such acts. That Abiriba Kingdom will not welcome anymore a situation where a young man will start jubilating around with powders even when he knew that he did not pay the girl's bride price. Pointing out that, even where the bride price of the lady was paid, that " IT IS THE MOTHERS THAT GOES AROUND WITH POWDERS TO SHARE THE JOYS, NOT MEN".
4: That those who drops their wastes into the gutters of Abiriba, thereby blocking the water from passing through which forces the waters to overflow the gutter and destroy our roads should desist from such acts or face the wrath of the Abiriba people. Also, that those whose compound square (Agbala) are too narrow to mount canopies during occasion should henceforth proceed to the empty and available fields to do their occasions and stop blocking the already narrow roads in Abiriba.
5: Abiriba Enachioken warns TOWN CRIERS to beware of what information they accept from their senders. That any town crier who accepts to disseminate any information that later causes trouble in Abiriba will be held accountable. Therefore, nobody should give a town crier any message to disseminate without the consent of his traditional ruler.
6: That the eyes of the Kingdom is on those whose modus operandi is to remove program FLEXES and BANNERS even though the occasion for which the banner was mounted had not taken place. That those in such acts will soon be dealt with the location where they take those banners to are well known.
7: That any pharmaceutical shop that sells or that is found to be selling hard drugs such as "TRAMADOL" and those in the act of selling weeds to Abiriba youths will be prosecuted and closed down or sent packing if the shop owner is not from Abiriba.
Meanwhile, the new Uke Ji Agbala already sent a town crier to inform the people of Abiriba that the new laws has taken effect and that anybody found wanting will be dealt with accordingly.
NOTE: All security agencies have been informed of the latest laws and I will bring to us the signed copies of the documents/edicts once it is ready and reaches me.
God bless Enachioken Kingdom.

GOAL MACHINE........ THE MAN RONALDO
BRIEF GOAL SUMMARY IN MADRID
451 goals in 438 games?
Ridiculously insane!
Proved it in Portugal.
Proved it in England.
Proved it in Spain.
And here we are in Italy.
What a player!
That's what greatness is all about. It's not a fluke.
If you doubt me, leave Barca and show us you can do it elsewhere.

WHEN SLEEPING WITH A MARRIED MAN
MY SUBMISSION
When you sleep with a married man and he shows you his beautiful baby girl, you will feel relaxed due to the fact you know it will just be a onetime thing.
No expectations, No pressure. Just one night and it will be over.
When you sleep with a married man and he tells you how much he loves his wife, you tend to have hope that one day- someone will love you just as much.
Someone will never let go of your hands, someone will walk you through your door- just as he did for his wife.
When you sleep with a married man and he tells you sex is a primal need- a necessity and he is just filling up a void, you wonder how it must feel like to be in his shoes. Admitting that he is eternally committed but having sex like he has never experienced how it’s like to be on the other side.
When you sleep with a married man and he asks you why you are single because he thinks that you are complete, you wonder too why you are unmarried.
Maybe because you choose to have fleeting moments instead of stable ones; maybe because you choose electricity over calm. Maybe because you just haven’t found the right one yet so expending and exhausting yourself to the wrong ones feel like the band-aid remedy.
Just like this one.
When you sleep with a married man and he tells you he used to be like you, sleeping around, never knowing when to commit and settle- makes you wonder if it is ever in the cards for you.
When you sleep with a married man and he tells you that he didn’t believe that it exists but was able to finally accept that there is after all the right person to see forever with- makes you finally see that anyone is worthy of love if they give it a chance.
When you sleep with a married man who says he is committed but makes himself available, you will realize that all your preconceived notions about dedication and relationship can get ruined in a snap.
You will then wonder how different commitment is from loyalty. How someone can be the most devoted husband and father but his loyalty is with the next girl he can share a night with. When you sleep with a married man, don’t ever think that he will leave his wife and baby because you have chemistry. No matter how much passion and fireworks there are, he can never be yours. I’m telling you, he will never leave his wife.
When you sleep with a married man, it will try to blur the lines between your hopeless romantic and cynic self.
How you wish you have met him a couple of years earlier when he wasn’t married yet or how you dream that this was just a Danielle Steele novel so that a happy ending can be a possibility. When you sleep with a married man, he will eventually let you go. And you must learn how to deal with all the spinning thoughts in your head.
When you have experienced all of these, you will finally comprehend that sleeping with a married man enables you to see the world differently.
Love can be a possibility but it can never take off. The debilitating fear of him repeating the pattern and circling back to how you started automatically numbs you every single time.
You will realize that having slept with a married man; you know that this kind of relationship thrive only on lust and attraction.
And it is left for you to make the right choice.

A TWISTED VIEW OF MARRIAGE!!!
MY HUMBLE OPINION
Humans will see a man washing his clothes and in preference to minding their business, they'll say "Ahh Oga Ude, go and marry so that you'll prevent washing".
They will see a man cooking and be like "Bro Samuel Kalu, you need to get married so you can stop cooking".
A mother will have a look at his 35years old son who can not wash his personal boxers, boil water for tea or maybe make his personal bed, a 35years old that cannot take his plates to the kitchen after eating and tell him "OMIC, you need to settle down, get a woman to take care of you". Seriously??
In distinct ways, the society subconsciously tell guys that they don't marry ladies for any reason aside from cleaning, cooking and childbearing. I start to marvel, does the common guy want a wife or a glorified maid?
Many ladies look 3times their age all due to stress and exhaustion. You sit down down in front of the television together with your phone and watch your spouse work till she's about to pass out. Really?? 😱
Guys, who advised you that it is incorrect to wash your own plates?
Who instructed you that it is incorrect to wash your personal clothes?
Who told you that it is incorrect to dress your bed when you wake up?
What will it take to assist your partner with chores in the house?
If a man wanted to be adopted as a child to be pet, pampered, fed and nursed. Then, he need not to seek marriage, he need to instead offer himself up for an adoption at a motherless home to be pick up.
However if you want a spouse, who you would love, cherish, do different things with, help in a few chores, and love her for the rest of your existence, then get married.
AND in case you are getting married due to the fact you sense you are becoming too old to do your own chores then get a maid.
Ladies are to be loved, pampered and cherished, not USED.

THE DRESSING OF ABIRIBA PEOPLE VS OTHER KINGDOMS:
( LET'S COMPARE)
I was having an issue with some people some time ago about the way Abiriba men and women dresses and they all accused me of "OVER-LOVING ABIRIBA" and also " OVER EXAGGERATING EVERYTHING CONCERNING ABIRIBA", but were they right?
What was my crime? you may ask.
My crime was that I saw a man and a woman ( maybe they were husband and wive) coming from a distant angle, and once I looked at them, I told my "Mba" friends that those two people dressed like Abiriba people, and as we were arguing about it, they came close and I decided to confirm through greeting.
I stylishly walked out of the crowd and greeted them in Abiriba dialect " Ete Kaa o" and I turned to say "Iyaa unu agala e"!, and to everyone's greatest surprise, they both responded "Nwam unu n'ohu ezutu ike?", and alas, it came to pass that true to my earlier prediction, they were both Nde Abiriba for sure. The argument closed even though some of them accused me of knowing the man and woman, but I told them their dressing drew me into believing they were from Abiriba.
Now, looking at the pictures here, one would see the Enachioken, Eze Ihungwu and Eze Amogudu all wearing the white cloth regalia (Abacha cloth) which, according to Abiriba tradition, these Kings can only wear during the Itu-Eyeh festival in July (Iri Ama), and also the people of Benin Ancient Kingdom in Edo State who wears same Abacha during their own festivals.
Can anyone spot the difference despite the white cloth being the same everywhere, and the fact that the people tying the white cloths are both men from Benin Kingdom and Abiriba Kingdom?.
The difference is clear, even the blind man can spot it. It is not a matter of exaggeration or defending indefensible issues because it concerns Abiriba.
The way Abiriba men and women dresses marks them out. Believe it or not.

THE ABIA STATE GOVERNOR VISITS ABIRIBA TODAY:
(MY HUMBLE PERSONAL OPINION)
The Abia State Governor, His Excellency Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, PHD, will be in Abiriba Enachioken Kingdom today (11/07/2018) on an official visit, and as he enters Abiriba with his entourage this afternoon, I know our early pioneers and ancestors would be looking up to the present stake holders in Abiriba.
Abiriba is a community known for her hospitality and has produced men who are bold in saying their minds about what the community and her people needs without minding whose ox is gored.
The current stake holders should be bold enough to tell the governor the needs of the people, because, as the election period draws closer and closer, our people must play their cards well. It should not be a gathering of "Nde Fonfuju akpas" which has hampered the development of Abiriba in recent times.
Abiriba, by right, deserves to be the first community to produce the Governor of Abia State upon creation of the state going by the enormous resources and sacrifices paid by mostly "Nde Abiriba" towards the creation of Abia State in 1991.
By 27th August, 2018, Abia State will be 27 years and it is unimaginable that an indigene of Abiriba has not smelt the Senatorial seat, Governor, Deputy Governor nor House of Representatives till date except the State House of Assembly occupied by Hon. Tony Okoro during Orji Uzor Kalu's tenure and now, Hon. Mandela Obasi. Late Senator Onyeka Amadi Okorafor would have been the Senator from Abiriba if their tenure wasn't truncated by the annulment of the June 12, 1993 election in which he could have served under the M.K.O. Abiola-led government.
Let us remind the governor that, WITHOUT THE EFFORTS AND CONTRIBUTION OF ABIRIBA PEOPLE, MOSTLY, OUR BUSINESSMEN, THE CREATION OF ABIA STATE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE.
The development and subsequent population of Aba, the Enyimba city was one of the criteria used by the Babangida Military government to create Abia State and the industries built by Abiriba people was responsible for Aba to receive the accolade as " THE JAPAN OF AFRICA" before the population explosion that followed.
It is on record that Abiriba has the highest number of prominent men who made themselves and their resources available towards the fight for the creation of Abia State. Therefore, we cannot continue to serve as POLITICAL MANURE to every in-coming or out-going governments in the state.
Also, of utmost importance is to remind the governor that " WE DON'T HAVE MEDICAL FACILITIES IN ABIRIBA AND MANY OF OUR PARENTS, BROTHERS AND SISTERS ARE DYING UNNECESSARILY BECAUSE OF THIS VERY ISSUE.
Therefore, as the Governor visits, it should not be praises and praises alone without pointing out to him the needs of people while mapping out our political strategies very well.
I discovered a political disease which our people have been suffering of recent called " P.H.D". P.H.D simply means in my laboratory analysis " PULL HIM DOWN", and it has been the bane of our politics in these days. Whenever an Abiriba man comes out to contest for a political office, our people will start talking all sorts of rubbish against him or her, instead, accepting to vote an outsider whose C.V they don't know.
The likes of Late Jonah Ndukwo Kalu (Ndukwonta), Okoro Ijagha, Ete Igwo and co will be shaking their heads in their graves should we continue to play the kind of politics we have been seeing in Abiriba over the past decades.
Finally, I pray that the governor's visit will not be to cook rice, dance round and dismiss.
Abiriba kaani.
